See the San Felipe Sidewinders Facebook group. They don't like hot weather, so no more runs this year. In the Trip Reports forum here, see the weekly runs led by Wornout photos.

I have never seen as many UTV groups as in the last 2 months. Something seems to have changed!

SXS have taken over I see way less dirt bikes. Yes even I have one only because . I need one of every toy. back to answer your question . It takes little skill to drive a sxs even less to charge your CC to buy one. They are fun but can get you in trouble if go to fast. To get back to answer G MAN . Do have amigo in San Felipe has home there dirt bikes and SXS . Can hook you up with him I may haul my bike and SXS there. Sadly i dont like riding there much better my place. Only cool months of the year there. West side year round not hot.

Most of the 'thin bloods' leave San Felipe at the end of May... "too hot", they say! They return in October...

My hats off to the guys racing in that heat there tuff as nails. Our riding is extreme terrain but not at speed . Zips energy heat stroke is always a worry. Dont need push it with heat. West side so much better for outdoors. No on watch the 500 much better riding along ocean . Hope all enjoy and take care dont get close to course. Protect yourself
