El Capitan is dog friendly, at least for our 8 pound toy poodle Coronita.

Blue Sky Motel

6 or 7 miles north of town on the west side of Highway 5.

El Capitan is probably a little nicer though had a case of bed bug bites several years ago at El Cap.

The Hotel Sky Blue is at Km. 182 on the west side of the highway. It was highly recommended by a couple I met at the excellent breakfast restaurant at Km. 179 "The Road Runner" (east side of the highway).

Kikis accepts dogs and it’s on the beach.
I checked into the Blue Sky a couple of years ago, went to the room and returned to the office and asked for my money back.
Not that nice of a room. George’s in town accepts dogs as well.
Suerte

Sandollar takes my dog few times I've stayed there. Not sure what rate would be without dog, with dog $110/night. On the beach.

F*ck it.
