Trudi announces the retiring of Saddling South tours in 2023
Saddling South, travel company based in Baja, Mexico, will retire after 35 years in business. Trudi Angell, founder and owner says goodbye and invites
us to ride one last time to celebrate the link created over the last decades between the ranchero culture of the mountains of Baja California Sur and

What a career to look back on!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

You all are welcome...
Retirement happens and we all get old. They say, 'nothing is forever' so do all that you can to live well, enjoy life, and be kind to others.
I have not met Trudi but she and I did talk on the phone, chatting about the book that Edie Littlefield-Sundby wrote. Edie is the author of 'The
Mission Walker'. Trudi helped her with finding guides in the first stages of the walk/ride from Loreto to San Diego on or parallel to El Camino Real.
Trudi knows all the local mule-guides in the region.

Thank you David and even more to Trudy. Wow. Baja Nomad at its finest and why I keep coming back day after day hoping to find these gems.
I have never been a horse person but I have an enormous respect for these magnificent creatures. To have the chance to do her ride through the back
country would be one for the ages, make that my old man's ages.
I recall that Shari in one of her off seasons, like she has an off season, haha, took a few trips to some ranchos in the back country that sounded
like something I would want to do when the timing permits.
Trudy, what a blessed life you have made for yourself and for the rancheros to benefit in whatever small ways they can.
A little goes a long way the further out there you get. The self sufficiency of these salt of the earth people is a wonder and quite wonderful.
Thank you Nomad and its members for the gifts like these.
