Processing fee for FMM online?

A friend recently applied online for the FMM tourist form and said there was a processing fee of $89.00. Don't know if that included the $36.00 normally paid at the immigration office.

I've not heard of this. Anyone know if the processing fee is legit?

Your friend got taken. Plus they still need to go through immigration to get it finalized. Don't do them online.

Never did understand the attraction of online fmm.
Seems worthless. I have printed the free 6 nt 7 day
fmm though.
Either one doesn't print out the receipt, passport name
not exact, etc. which invalidates it. There are a couple bogus sites that charge
the $90. Baja Bound has the correct site to get one
if inclined

What I thought. Verified another website that charges $59 for the form.

Thx for the feedback. Just go in and get the form at the INM office when crossing.

Because the online one still requires you to park at the border and walk in with it, and the receipt too, to get it validated, along with the chance you can't cross on the day or the border you said on the form, it makes little sense to go that route.

Agreed. Doesn’t make sense.

Sounds like many suckers are buying fmms online from resellers at inflated prices. A lot of suckers out there. Maybe I should start my own fmm reselling website!

Seriously, don't people bother to notice that they aren't on the official Mexican govt. site, where there are no processing fees? Getting suckered is usually the natural consequence of inattention and lack of research.
