Could the banning of collecting Totoaba's bladders be a help in preserving few remaining Vaquita porpoises? The greed of the market forces by the
Chinese, they are not alone in this, in imagining the benefits of a certain fishes bladders is disgusting.
This mentality of thinking some animal parts will restore some lost 'wood' disgusts me. The increase in China's wealth has shown this lack of respect
for Mother Nature has no limitation.
Swim bladders? Give me a freaking break. Rhino horns? Keratin? Give me a freaking break.
Give Mother Nature a break and look unto yourselves for why you cannot get it up. Rant over. Try some Viagra and leave Mother Nature Nature to her
own proven ways, if you have a problem.
China deserves to have their people be better off, but when it comes to the cost exacted on animals who they imagine will restore some lost 'wood', I
cannot relate their justification for decimating certain species just to get a hard on. Ginseng is available. So are others 'natural' substances that
don't require subjecting species out of existence. Now my rant is over. For now. haha
Peace, love for Baja, and fish tacos to all Nomads.

Old habits die hard.
Don’t forget that Mexico has never been able to stomp out unsustainable turtle egg taking due to many Mexicans thinking the eggs are aphrodisiac or
otherwise beneficial…
Woke!

A few years ago the Navy started placing concrete blocks with hooks to snag the gill netters. They have had some success “discouraging” the
illegal fishing.
