This is great to see... but how do we drive to it?

The campground is just before the entrance to the Plaza on the left. We walked to the plaza for eats.
The campground has been previously reported. Hot showers, flush toilets', Night lights and one or two? 110v outlets, a few palapas. Some grass, but the grass is very damp and the bare places are better for your tent. After mid day he place is crowed during whale season.
An OK place to camp.

Years ago we camped at a place just past the La Pinta hotel where the road curved to the left. At least that's how I remember it.

Trying this spot out ... it is a really nice little campground. All the amenities. 200 pesos to camp. Stumbling distance to the plaza. The owners bought it 18 months ago and opened sometime after. La dueƱa is from San Ignacio and her husband is a profesor from Sinaloa.

On a side note ... lots of developement in San Ignacio. Fresh paint everywhere, a fancy coffee shop, 4g internet. Dang.

This photo was just posted on Facebook of another new San Ignacio RV park sign:

One site shows it on the opposite side of the entrance road from the first place named in this thread. In other words, on your right as you near the mission plaza.

Facebook page shows a motel there, too: https://www.facebook.com/ElPadrinoSanIgnacio/

Great reviews: https://www.ioverlander.com/places/31548-el-padrino-campgrou...

The first place named above is the Paraiso-Misional RV Park (on the left before the mission plaza, against the hill)
