In fact does not even list the 1000 on the schedule.

I ran the last NORRA "Mexican" 1000, finished second in the pickup class

Ran the next 7 or 8 "Baja" 1000 events under SCORE
Got some trophies, but nothing like the 1972 event.

Reverse course sure does make it more difficult for the privateer to do the pre-running and all the race logisitcs.
