another avatar assist

I've got a pixpond url for my avatar and I've copied it to my user profile but it doesn't show up after I edit my profile. I'm within the size limitation and I can access the photo by typing in the url address on IE. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Here's the scoop...

The new board software has an option to check the size of avatars before it allows them to be saved in the profiles. Sometimes the server being checked doesn't respond in the small amount of time the board takes to check. In this case, it assumes there is no image, and leaves the field blank.

I overrode that to put save that URL to your profile... but the next time you go to save your profile, it'll likely do the same thing.

Because of trouble with people loading large avatars, I wish to leave that option enabled. However, if anyone has a problem with that, please contact me privately (U2U or email), and I'll provide you FTP access to this directory to upload your avatar:
