The 2023 Trail of Missions (Can Ams this year) this Sunday Nov. 5 on ESPN

Set your DVRs or be by the TV this Sunday afternoon (2 pm PST here in SoCal) but check your local listings for World of X Games on ESPN).

Watch as a group of off road professionals and industry giants drive Can Ams to some of the missions and some great beach locations, too.

From Cameron Steele, Trophy Truck racer and winner of both the SCORE Baja 1000 and NORRA Mexican 1000:

"Proud to say TV production has wrapped for the 2023 DA season with our 15th year I believe of production. Trail of Missions airs this Sunday on ESPN during World of X Game's. This one's a banger, I think one of our finest content captures and edits..."

SEE in the video clip below: Gonzaga Bay, San Antonio (Los Codornices), The 'secret beach,' Mission Santa María and the 'Widowmaker,' and Mission San Ignacio. In the show, they go to Mission San Borja, as well.
Here is the one-minute teaser:

That was a nice show and gave plugs for Shari Bondy and her hotel at Bahía Asunción as well as the ice cream shop in San Ignacio and Angel Gerardo (with his dad) at Mission San Borja.

The show began and ended at Alfonsina's, Gonzaga Bay. Included (often without naming): The Pioneer Mine Trail, the adobe of Rancho San Antonio (Los Codornices), the arch beach west of Villa Jesus María, Mission Santa María, Fred's Tractor Trail (La Turquesa Grade), Pozo Alemán, Mesa el Carmen cave, Punta San Francisquito, L.A. Bay, Mission San Borja and more... Connecting the dots will be interesting!

At first I assumed that without the Raptors and families, it would be just another Rip to Cabo kind of deal on four wheels. I was much relieved to see how his guests really embraced the history or how the history embraced them!

What did you guys think? I hope if you set your DVRs that you added time on the end of the recording as the volleyball game that was one before, ran 20 minutes long! I learned to do this when I missed the last half of one of his shows for just such an ESPN snafu!

As always, can't wait to see this. With no TV, I'm hoping it'll be released to Youtube.

As soon as Cameron or the Desert Assassins let's us have the YouTube link, someone here should provide the link.

In your area a lot was filmed at Roger's place, including the drive there from San Francisquito and then after, to San Borja. Then they went back to Alfonsina's where they began, using the La Turquesa Grade (Fred's Tractor Trail). Of course, in editing, the actual order may be different than reality.

Cam wanted to take them to Montevideo, asking me if I could arrange it. I Facebook chat with a person who has the key. With the locked gate and logistics of not knowing when to be there to open it by the rancher who lives miles away from it, well, that was shelved.
The only other thing I helped him with was some Mission Santa María history.
