La Mona / Rincon & Playa Blanca Restaurant

We'll be in Bahia de Los Angeles next week and want to explore the area. Already planning on checking out the Remedios area, as well as the beaches North of La Gringa.

Are there any beaches we can drive to on the South side of Bahia de Los Angeles, in the La Mona / Rincon area? I noticed there is a restaurant over there, Playa Blanca. Anyone ever been there? Good food? Can we park anywhere around there and take our SUPs to the SS Minnow Beach?

Thanks for the info!

You can drive to Rincon and Playa Blanca. That is a far as you can go unless you want to go back out to the main graded road and on south to Bahia Animas about 20 miles to the turn off and then another 11 miles to the beach.

Off grid, 12-190 watt evergreen solar panels on solar trackers, 2-3648 stacked Outback inverters, 610ah LiFePo4 48v battery bank, FM 60 and MX60 Outback charge controllers, X-240 Outback transformer for 240v from inverters, 6500 watt Kubota diesel generator.

BeachSeeker, beware of what Google Maps has listed... A restaurant, far from customers, in a private home area, not occupied all year (Rincon)?

Play Blanca is a real place and the locals tell me the food is good but it is not a sit down type restaurant but more like an outdoor place for fishermen to have a drink and some hors dervs sp? after a day of fishing while the pangueros clean your fish and then take you back to town.
