That used to be an old Baja cathedral, till an asteroid fell from the sky and smashed all but the front portal...right in the middle of the boulder fields...:o

While I'll admit it's a bit irreverent, the second picture at first glance reminded me of one of Baja's famous banos that appears to be in great need of 'relocation'...just my warped sense of vision...:O

Mexray,
Yes, it does seen you have a different vision on life.
I must be different also, I seem to agree with most of your visions.

David K,
You were right on with the location in the e-mail you sent me. Thanks for not revealing it to everyone.

This is a picture of the other La Virgin shrine on the old dirt road as you approach Catavina from El Rosario.

I guess they found another virgin when they built the new (paved) highway and moved her out to the new highway.

Note the date "1950" on top of the rock.

Armenta- Pompano you see the remains of a concrete pad upper right, some canadien friends of ours used to have a house there till it burned down. They then moved to Lopez Mateos and were happy till they started a restaurant without any permits. Needless to say they are no longer in Baja period.

You can go...they just won't let you camp there anymore. It's all private now...reminds me of a Liesure World compound.
