Code 200

The rumor here in San Felipe among local racers is that the upcoming Code 200 might not come off as scheduled. Can't get property owners to sign off on it. All the problems are here in San Felipe.

Same thing happened a couple years ago, but was OK'd at last minute.

I'll post more if I hear more.

I'll be here in town this weekend Paul - haven't been to town for the last few days but haven't heard anything else. Supposed to help DR and DG get set up to climb Diablo on Sat. but expect that's in the afternoon. Come on by or give me a holler on 74.

DR is gonna be in town that will be great. Do you know if he already left Texas. I want to see him. My friend is bringing his dune buggy so maybe we can help also or just go along for the ride. Paul

I'll be leaving El Centro Friday morning around 8:30 down to SF for the race. We have a rear start Q98(Carlos Mancillas) I'll be starting the first 50 miles and handing off the quad to my friends daughter. She's only 17 and still in high school and loves to race. She did all the CODE races with us last year including starting the Ojos to SF race. She will do a rider change with her dad at Morelia jct.
We will be staying at the El Cortez in the southern most beach front bungalow. I hope to see some of you down there. Lou if DR comes by and he can stay for the race tell him I'll buy him dinner. Bribe him if you have to. I'd love to see him and hear his adventures to Diablo. I'm bummed I just missed him last weekend.I'll call you on the way down on 74...Paul
