Shrimp cooking?
I have been walking past the shrimp market a few times a day. I don't know what to put in the pan with the shrimps. Olive oil? Red onion?
Tomatoes? Picante sauce? Rice? Eggs?
Ideas?

You can find a million shrimp recipes online.
But butter and garlic is simple and delicious.

Camarooones Al mojo de ajo is best made at home. Super simple. So many baja restaurants serve shrimp swimming in butter (yuck).

So many Mexican restaurants use that disgusting Mexican "butter" that smells and tastes revolting. I don't know how they manage to create something
that smells and tastes so rancid or how anyone can eat it.

Shrimp kabobs are delicious!
A skewer with shrimp, yellow bell peppers, red bell peppers, onion slices cooked over a grill are delicious and healthy. Give it a try

Most mexican butter is really bad. Butter is something best bought in usa and brought with you to mexico.

I like med to jumbo shrimp. Pan fry with oil and butter (I pay $2/stick for Challenger Butter in Todos), and garlic. That's it.
Tortilla or brown rice. Red onion is good. Any combination works.

That isn't necessary unless you are just travelling in areas that only have little local grocery stores that only carry Mexican items. There are many
brands of good imported butter available at all the big grocery stores, Costco, etc. Even smaller stores carry imported butter in areas that are
touristy or where there is a large foreign population.

Boil water first, then add the shrimp - don't overcook.
Then c-cktail sauce - the classic: ketchup, horseradish, worcestershire, lemon juice.
Add to fettucini alfredo. Add to ceasar salad.

My favorite is shrimp soup. The shrimp are cut in 3rd's or 4th's depending on size. Light tomato flavor. Make it spicy.
It's very common for Mexicans to make in Sonora. Not sure about anywhere else.
Delicious.

Lunch was eight big shrimp. Rice and red onion. Picante sauce. Maybe next time no cheese. Dinner is going to be corn and shrimp. Maybe one egg.
Over 200 pesos a kilo. $290 for the biggest ones.

Stuffed bacon wrapped poblano peppers with shrimp:
6 - 8 good size poblanos,
8 ounces softened cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
1 cup Mexican blend shredded cheese
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
12 - 16 pre cooked shrimp, tails off
6 - 8 slices bacon
Blister poblano peppers, place in paper bag and let cool, remove skin. Slice lengthwise in half up to the stem, then remove seeds and veins.
Mix remaining ingredients (except shrimp and bacon) and stuff peppers. Put 2 shrimp into each pepper, close and wrap with bacon slice held in place
with toothpicks. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top of foil lined pan. OR If you don't have a wire
rack, no problem, just cook on the foil lined pan. Put in oven and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
