That is exactly the one to avoid. Pumps are way off and not in your favor. Did you ever wonder why no one is ever there?

Or, Villa Jesus Maria, less than 14 miles north. If headed east, new station in Viscaino, 47 miles from the Giant Tuning Fork at the border.
I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!

As stated above. Stop in Jesus Maria. The first station going into Guerrero Negro has been accurate most of the time. I have never had problems
with either of the stations in Vizcaino. Avoid the station a couple miles south of Vizcaino like the plague.

The eternal gas station question.... Always asked, and the asked again (lather, rinse, repeat, eh?)
Are pemex gas stations reviewed on google, TA or yelp? If not, they should be.

We were advised xeveral years ago by a long time resident in GN that the one by the bank is crooked. He also said the one at the North end of
Vizcaino is OK.

MULEGE...
We visited the area for two weeks, just got back last Sunday, every time I filled my 5gal. cans at the gas station on Hwy 1 the pump showed 22ltrs. it
should had been 3.785x5=18.93ltrs. Later I learned from the locals that the same thing goes on with the station in town (both owned by the same
person) and that's another reason the businesses in Mulege are suffering so much, people are going to Sta Rosalia to buy gas and while in town they
buy their groceries at Ley and everything else needed on that trip... a couple of scoundrels ripping off everyone and harming the whole town!!!

Speaking of PEMEX, do any of you have trouble filling your gas tanks at PEMEX stations? At home, and some PEMEX stations, my F-250 fills up with the
pump set to max flow. At many other PEMEX stations the gas has to be trickled in, otherwise the pump shuts off like the tank is full. I've been to a
couple of PEMEXs where they couldn't put any gas in.
Usually the attendant can get gas in by sticking a pen in the nozzle's handle so the gas flows slower than the nozzle's slowest setting. They all know
the pen trick so that leads me to believe it's a common problem.
Don't get behind me at a PEMEX. I have a 40 gallon tank and it can take forever to fill it.

carlosg, I agree with you about the Mulege stations. I have the same experience, about a 10 percent rip-off, although there is a local nomad who will
disagree with us.

Handsome, I bet it's a Fix Or Repair Daily, ain't it..... my 35 gal. F-250 has the same glitch. Takes forever, even with the pen trick, most
stations, both in Baja and Stateside.

My ford fills just fine.
I had a chevy with a service bed on it that was almost impossible to put gas in. You had to hold the handle just right.
Check the routing on the hose, maybe a kink or something.

Pemex gas stations are on Yelp or can easily be added when they are not. Give them a review that fits your experience, but please be sure you're doing
the math correctly before telling everyone you were shorted fuel. Just try to be fair and honest, just like the Pemex is! Hahahahahaha.

Since we have morphed from the subject question, on my last trip to Sur (July, 2015) I had no indication of pump cheating at the following: the
northern-most two stations in Vizcaino (the original one on the west side and the newest one a few blocks south on rhe east side) and the single pump
in downtown Mulege. Lucky maybe?
