National geographic doesn't exist anymore. NG was bought by Fox, now is Fox employees hiding in faux credibility of NG. Sad.
I pity the cops. A couple get fired, and the town still employs a pack of crooks as cops. The fired cops will no longer have work, and will turn to the cartels for employment .

Do you remember when NG used to be interesting documentaries? Now the NG channel broadcasts crappy reality TV,...

Goat-
You pity the cops? Maybe I don't understand your rationale. Can you explain how if in fact they were corrupt why they shouldn't have been fired? Maybe I am missing something here.

IT appears that it is a prerequisite to be a crook to get hired. It is unfair to fire an employee for thievery if that was part of the job description. You don't think it's not in The job description? I guarantee you the entire department is rotten and an honest cop would not be tolerated by the chief. It is in the unwritten job description.

Write to something you know about, Tom. You know nothing about cops in CC and can't guarantee anything with blanket statements and generalizations that mask hate and contempt towards Mexicans and cops. In the years I've seen your posts, I've never read a positive one on this forum. Why do you even post here?

I have worked with special needs kids in CC for 14 years and spend a considerable amount of time in town each year. I also personally know several officers in CC and have seen a lot stops by them. I also see a lot of tourists NOT paying attention, going fast, and not stopping as they travel through town. Not saying there are not any bad stops at times but most of the police are good and helpful.

Thanks Steve -- the good guys are choosing a higher ground. Early xmas gifts tomorrow on my way through if I see any cops.

And thank you for making it a better world for the kids. You are indeed doing God's work.
