| Wind in your area? Let's hear it!

One personal weather station over here in San Carlos, Sonora has recorded a gust of 60 mph today. My own PWS has recorded a max of 35 mph.

I see a lot of steady, 30+ mph winds along the northern Gulf.

What gusts have Nomads observed at your own PWS? I'm sure there are some out there that dont report to Weather Underground.

Nice breeze picking up, waiting for the front to drop, though. Should be sailing in about 30 min.

Hey, windgrrl, what is up with that La Ventana PWS. It never has any wind data. The one thing one might want from it (wind) is missing.

Loreto looks like it has got 35 mph. It should be getting there, soon.

Looks like a computer prediction of a "virtual" spot. But, based on what you have been reporting, seems like it has been overpredicting your morning
winds, significantly, so far.

After two beautiful calm days here in La Ribera the wind picked up. Not sure how strong but it's victory at sea off the Punta Arena lighthouse. I
think it's blowing over 20 because something on my front porch starts to whistle about that wind speed and she's a whistlin.

Wunderground Weather has been right on with the wind predictions lately. Time, speed, and direction have been much closer to reality than I can
remember, ever.

Honkin' out of the North right now. White caps and mini-surf.

Not Baja, but a never seen ocean condition here in so. OC,
 at least to me,
is the ocean temp has held at 62, after repeted wind events
the last weeks, which have always turned the water over,
generally taking 6-7 degrees off the temp. Sea urchin divers
that collect 60-80' down months ago reported no change in
temp at that depth. Read of a warm water 'blob' that is
along the Ca coast, seems to be the case. Heard an old fishermans tale. of the wind blowing before a full moon,
 it will blow after

Pretty gnarly seas today. Topped out at 37mph...blew me off my 4.0/79 combo! Espousa mi had fun on my gear, though!

Twisted back to NW and all over for the day.

Hope your Boxing Day was a blast, too.

Way not Baja, BUT , I drove up out of the Texas panhandle today...after Christmas with my Daughter and families....Trying to stay ahead of a storm
the NWS has named "Goliath"....Winds in the Oklahoma panhandle and southern Kansas were brutal, creating a -10 windchill....First time I have ever
heard the NWS say by Sunday "Travel will be impossible"....Glad I am home...Stay safe and well, all....

Y'all can come over to my house for martinis here in Baja, New Mexico (as in Southern)..... winds right now sustained at 24, expected stronger in the
next hour. The catch is:

 IT'S ALL WHITE OUTSIDE!!

Not to mention, current temp. is 30.1º. Oh, and just had surgery so hot tub is empty 'cause I can't use it for a month or more, Sowwy. Other than
that,

I wish I was in Baja...... hooray, hooray! In Baja where the wind does blow but elsewhere it all SUCKS.... my kingdom for some fresh cochito, or
even a carne asada taco from the yeller store at the top of St. Rosalia....

 I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!

Quite a far-ranging wind incident, it has been.

We may hit 40 degrees F at my house tomorrow morning.

Wind still ranging between 10-20 mph.

Lots of breaking wind here according to my wife!!!
We live in a micro enviro and it is COLD!!!! 5 miles from the beach (Encinitas) and right now (7:30 PM Sat night) the temp is 33. In the last 2 weeks,
the bird bath has been frozen over with about 1/4 inch of ice that takes until 10 AM to thaw. One Meyer lemon has made it with thick skin lemons that
thrive on neglect and are wonderful. Last night, according to the nearest WUG station, the temp went up 10 degrees in 15 minutes around 3:40 AM when
the wind kicked up. Have tons of lemons but tonight may do some serious damage. OK, picked some yellow ones and should be good for a month.
Hope to hear the wind howl later this early morning, just for a bit to warm things up!!
