Boat From Ensanada To Salsipuedes
Has anyone ever chartered a boat from Ensanada to Salsipuedes to surf? How long does it take to drive to the harbor at Ensanada from San Diego
border? How long is the boat ride? I'm not expecting to get any info. Expecting the worst and hoping for the best... Thanks everyone.

About 74 miles from San Ysidro to Ensenada on the scenic (toll) road. Figure 60-90 minutes depending on traffic
I would come down and talk to the boat/fishing guys. You can park in the lot behind the fish taco stalls for about 5 pesos, then walk along the
malecon looking for fishing/tour boats

Make sure you get a Panga, if you get a cruiser it's a long boat ride. The same guys that do Killers will do Salis, It's about a buck and a half plus
tip. Sometimes you gotta give them a little gas money to start the trip.

We have available a 42" yacht in Ensenada at the Cruise Ship terminal with available parking. No need to get up at 3am. You tell us what time you want
the boat $700.00 all day, 12 hours, includes Captain and 1st mate. Fully equiped all in perfect working order. Galley, Salon, 2 staterooms, 2 full
baths. Docked at the cruise ship marina.
email fernando@vivabajacalifornia.com
No need to do it old school and only hope for the best. Relax, send me an email, book this beautiful, comfortable boat in advance and just enjoy
surfing in Salsipuedes.
Saludos
Fernando

700 is steep we only have 3 surfers. I think we just need a panga. Is it true that pangas will get there much faster than a regular boat? Don't
know much about boats obviously...

Most the cruisers ron about 8-10 miles per hour Pangas about twice that speed. YMMV.

I know, it's beautiful.
It belongs to a friend of course, so we could negotiate the best possible rates.
The full day rate for this boat is very inexpensive and we've rented it out for Todos Santos (Killers) and Salsipuedes for surfing. The original idea
was the whale watching.

Do you have to wear ugly pants, like those shown in pictures, in order to board?

Sorry for what is perhaps a stupid question from a non-surfer: why would you take a boat to Salsipuedes? Is there no longer beach access from the
road?

That area is closed to public access. It has been closed for a few years now.
