Satellite Dish Question Pescadero/Todos Santos Area
Hey All: Minimum dish size to pick up Dish Network Signal? I am in Pescadero/Todos Santos area. I was thinking about a 5 foot dish, if I remember
right. If I were to go up to a 6 foot dish, does the reception change all that much? What am I looking at approx. cost?
I haven't had any tv since direct tv dropped off, a friend up in the states is going to let me use one of his activated boxes. Any info and tips would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks bk

I was looking to bring an activated receiver from the states and buy a dish down south. Anyone have a 5-6' dish for sale?

I have a 6' dish but it is not for sale, I'll only let it go for free to a good home.
Off grid, 12-190 watt evergreen solar panels on solar trackers, 2-3648 stacked Outback inverters, 610ah LiFePo4 48v battery bank, FM 60 and MX60

I've recently been seeing regular size (smallish) red "Dish" antennas down South - what's up with those ?

The red dish will get you 80 or so English channels from Dish Network USA.
If you bring your receiver down from the States it will work but you will not get any of your local networks, ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX.

So one would have to get a local contract through a local provider to use the smaller red dish - Cabo Net mentioned above ? Any Idea of the costs ?

Best to contact CaboSat directly for prices. Their cell is 624-355-3782 or email them from the website cabosat.net
