It actually rained a little today as I was driving through Vista. Only 87° today (nice), but Sunday and Monday it might get close to 100° near the coast.

It's been running considerably below normal (low 70's) here in Redding, Ca for days, and we got 1.5 inches of rain night before last over night, almost unheard of in Redding for this time of year. We expect it to go back up into the 100's later this week, which is normal for Redding this time of year.

That's why I don't live closer to Baja. It was a nice 31F here this morning and warmed to 45 around 10am for a morning walk with the dog.

Picked up my granddaughter about 12:30 and it was 110° in Lakeside. Took her to the party in La Mesa and it was a refreshing 104° here. She's playing in the kiddie pool and slip and slide right now.

The climate, Goat. The climate is very complex and confusing to we humans, as well as to the climatologists and meteorologists. You can always be sure that the climate will change------that is what it does. It's nice and cool up here, where it usually is very hot now. I prefer the heat, so I am jealous of you. (-:
