Wind where you are?? (photos added)

The last two days it's really been blowing. yesterday 35mph and today 40 high gust at the house. This afternoon it's averaging around 25mph. 7 shrimp boat are trying to anchor out front and most are dragging anchor. From the looks of the offshore wind it's stronger out side. The waves in the outside channel appear to be 10' at times. Forecast is for a little less tomorrow

Nice thing about Pt. Chivato, during the winter the wind is blowing off shore so our patios are livable or even nice having the house block the biggest part. The beach wave are small at about 6" but as you'll see below it doesn't take long to build up. The hotel point also is a major wind block. Get out side that point and you're in trouble. That's why the shrimpers try it anchor inside. Notice they have their net doors down to stabilize them some.

Here's a couple of forecast shots. Not sure if they'll be readable....

On the first one it shows gusts and it's close to what I have.
