Mario's in Guerrero Negro
Most of you probably know about this place, I just came upon it for the first time. Love the decor, the ancient waitress was super nice. We ate like
kings and queens (steak, lobster, scallops, guacamole/chips, couple of beers) for only 525 pesos. We were staying at Terra Sal so we went back for
breakfast, again, ate like royalty for only 190 pesos.
Mario's is just south of the bug stop in Guerrero Negro, I highly recommend it.

Their palapa is just gorgeous! We haven't eaten there in years. Glad to hear that they are doing well.

Mario's palapa is spectacular and there is so much to look at inside too...and their whole family works there...I wonder if the waitress was Mario's
wife? Their whale watching tour are also excellent quality.

I usually stop there overnight with my motorhome as they have full hook-ups, plus their two dogs will sleep outside your door all night guarding the
place. Mario's wife is normally the "Waitress", unless their Daughter is working that day. Food has always been outstanding and plenty of it. They
also have WI-FI but only in the Restaurant. Great people and Mario will tell you all about the good fishing or whale tours.

What's an ''ancient waitress?''
US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

We ate at a little known restaurant operated by la Doctora Rosy and her husband who enjoys making the margaritas! The food is fresh and really
fantastic as the good doctor cares about healthy choices!
It is called Ojo de Liebre like the lagoon and is located across the highway from the parallel where they spray your car at the agricultural stop....a
bit north of Marios which is also a nice place to eat.

Interesting place with curios from the salt works. But beware the bugs falling from the palapa. or at least they were when we were there.

The ancient waitress, is probably a not-so-well-taken-care-of late sixties person. Really super nice. I know she is part owner.
We always stop there to eat on the way to BA. The margaritas are potent and very tasty. Try their CAMPECHANA. It is what is known way north of there
as a seafood c-cktail. It is to die for! The only one that comes close to in quantity and flavor is the CEVICHE De LA CASA at Muelle Tres, in
Ensenada. The other food item they do well is their guacamole. Each one is freshly prepared as it is ordered

Thank you for that. Now I know where it is. I've always wondered about this place. I'll be eating there instead of Mallarrimo's nest time.
shari? You ain't ancient, girl.

My bad for calling waitress ancient - she was a lovely older woman who looked to me to be in her 80's.
