Mike McCann?

In the early 1980s I met a guy on a plane that spent a lot of time talking up Baja. He owned a business in Portland called Stereo Super Stores that closed in the 90s. He talked about a village with a bay where he moored his yacht and said he had spent some money helping the village put in a well for fresh water. Think his name was Mike McCann . Does anyone know if he is now in Baja or where the village and bay might be?

Agua Verde comes to mind - they did not have water in the 1980's

San Basilio has no water and no village/rancho

San Evaristo has water

In 1983 or 4, My daughter and I were in Agua Verde and met a guy named "Mike" don't think I ever knew his last name....He had and was living on a big cruiser....Not a yacht as I think of them...Carlos Slim has a YACHT!

Looks like Aqua Verde must be the place. I heard later that 'Mike' was selling condos in Cabo. I own a 16' Seaswirl, so anything over 20' is a yacht to me. :)
