Surely fake news!
Three bodies have been found between Mulege and Santispac. Police say all executed and dumped on or close to Hiway 1. We all know that cant be true,
right? Such things never happen or are discussed on THIS forum....

Actually, we have a neighbor that was headed to Posada yesterday and the highway was blocked by constables in that area, when she drove by she did
see one body partially covered at the edge of the highway and when returning 3 hours later still there... waiting for something.
We have not heard what this might have been but pretty sure a local will be able to tell us soon.
She didn't see any sign of an accident around the area.
didn't think much about it until you posted this.... guess we are trying to stay sheltered in our little world...

Stories like this should be treated like fake news, until the OP comes up with an associated new article, that are almost always in the local press,
so we could all read the details of alleged tragic incident.
Secondly, even if the story is true, so what?
Does anybody really care if those in the drug trade are killing each other over turf battles? ( up to 90% of these killings are drug related)
Now lets get back to drinking margaritas at the pool with this nice weather.

There is no KM66 north of Mulege, KM66 would be south 1/2 way to Loreto......
KM starts at Loreto and goes north to Sta. Rosalia...ascending.....
Why do I know this, just on the road to Sta. Rosalia yesterday and the KM markers go up from Mulege to Sta. Rosalia...
No scuttlebutt around town "mulege" about any of this that we are hearing yet... of course a lot of us are in the dark most of the time...

I don’t understand the stupidity of constantly comparing what happens in Mexico to the violence in LA or Chicago and mocking any concern an alert to
potentially hazardous conditions in Paradise may have. Some people would rather be aware of conditions around them without keeping their heads in the
sand.

Mulege is at KM 135/136. So, KM 122 should be about right for Santispac.
What I'm doing at work is so secret, even I don't know what I'm doing!
One should believe in God, because even Google doesn't know everything.
