CODE Saturday 10-15

Is anyone going to the CODE Mexicana logistics race this Saturday in the Laguna Salada (west of Mexicali). There will definitely be a lot of racers
out there. There is also a good amount of bikes and quads racing. I plan to run it solo on my xr650r to gain seat time for the B1k..I'll be 99x. I
would like to hook up for some cold ones after my race and watch the cars and trucks....Paul

Great job Paul. I saw a report from a truck racer that said the first 50 miles were really bad.

Thanks Guys. I went to the awards yesterday and had a good time. I received a 2nd place trophy and a lot of high fives. I missed 1st place and 1'st
overall sportsman by 41 seconds and barely beat out the 3rd place finisher by 24 seconds. The times were very close. It was a real fun race but like
TW mentioned it was very rough going the first 35 miles and the last 15 miles. This was my first ironman race and 1'st race on my new xr650r so I was
very happy. I had a few friends racing so it was a fun get together for us all.
The best part of this race was I met some really cool nice new friends. We had good times prerunning, racing and the after race refreshments of
course. So now it's time to get ready for the big daddy of them all. The Baja 1,000.
