Otay border parking- US side

I have to go down in a couple weeks to an orphanage just a bit past the Otay crossing. We are having a Friday noon board meeting and I hate to drive over and back on a Friday when it is so close.
So, I plan to park US side, walk across and take a taxi to the meeting.

Where can I safely park on the US side, close enough to walk across?

Plaza Parking, 2489 Roll Dr just up the street from USCBP/SENTRI office about 1 1/2 blocks from the border 619-977-6026

Walk toward the SENTRI/USCBP office, take the pedestrian bridge to the Mexican Otay entry

I believe as soon as you get south of Aduana and INM there are Taxis available. They will also take you to the the pedestrian lane for entry back to the US

there are taxis there on once you get out - these are the more expensive taxis with permits to enter a federal zone. you can walk across the ready lane, the regular lane and over where the SENTRI lane narrows out (where the churro guy makes his churros), there are the cheaper taxis.
