Walk across at Mexicali

Crossing at Mexicali. Friends want to walk across and get fmm. Then cross at first light next morning. Did it a few years ago. Any changes with new crossing? Directions? Towing small trailer.

That seems more trouble than it's worth. Once you drive in the initial gate of the crossing, on the left there is a parking area, walk in and get your FMM, pull out of the parking lot and head south.

Agree with the previous post, that aside, you can still walk
across at the old west crossing, Mex Immigration old
office still in original place. Walking back could be 5 min.
or 1/2 hr. As posted, getting an fmm at the new Calexico vehicle
West crossing a breeze, park on left BEFORE the gate crossing
red-green lite

New west crossing even if go through the gate and red green area we were able to park at end of building and walk back through the building to obtain our FMM. Maybe allowed because of handicapped sticker, but if was quite a long walk back, paid agent so no additional walk to bank and back for stamp.
