November fishing ROCKS in Bahia Asuncion
As usual November has been an excellent fishing month. The water is nearly 70 degrees and the tuna & wahoo moved into the area. There is tons of
bait everywhere and the yellowtail now are brutes...big schools of fish in the 35-45lb range.
The spearos are stoked and filled their coolers and the sashimi and seared platters are flying. Let the good times roll!!!

Still thinking the GN route would be best.
So much wind over here for the past several days. I'm sure the ferry has not been running much.

Either I can come and pick you up or can have our Whale van pick you up and bring you here to Asuncion. This week was windy here too and
stormy...today the fishers are out and we have charters all this week...hope the fish are hungry!

The highway from Vizcaino to Asuncion is absolutely perfect...best it's ever been and the fishing just gets better and better...this week was a
yellowtail & tuna bonanza with perfect weather...calm seas, light breeze only, beautiful air temps, ocean about 68-70 for nice swims every day
too.
Our best wind months with 25 pus knots nearly daily from the NW are in April/May and sometimes into June....I dont know why we dont see more
kiters...only a few that I have seen.

I would think that the afternoon offshores on the east side of town would be great for kiting, although not much shape to the waves in the bay, mostly
small closeouts.

Really? I always hear the kite boarders rave about La Ventana and Los Barriles. Maybe it's something to promote. Is there there is not much fishing
wise April / May in Asuncion?

the spring months are our winter so the water temps are in the mid to high 50's so the only fishing is for calico, sheepshead etc.
I just dont know why we dont have the kite boarders here????

There are lots of kite boarders in Abreojos and La Bocana year round. Maybe the points without the shadow? Not my sport, Asuncion is a great place!
