Dog friendly hotel in La Paz
I know this has been asked a lot....we’re going to be in La Paz overnight and looking for a hotel that accepts dogs .......any suggestions?

Oasis has allowed dogs in rooms in crate and Casa Buena

Found Casa Juárez had great reviews so I made a reservation there.

I've stayed there. I really liked it.
They have an enclosed and locked garage. Rooms were pretty cool. Very friendly ppl.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Juarez in Feb last year with our 2 med sized dogs. Very hospitable couple running the place, and we really liked their
home made breakfast. We actually tried to book an additional night with them, but they were booked up so on we went... Enjoy!

Casa Buena has always been our go to with the pooch. pretty good location, price, and secure...
Milton and SuSu are good hosts...

This is where we stay with the puppers, cheap and close to the malecon, rooms are ~$40/night + 1000 peso refundable pet deposit

Bigger hotels I sneak my pooch in the side door during check in. Who wants to throw $50 or $100 dollars away. That's several drinks at the bar.

Good spot....has been my La Paz go-to choice for over 20 years. Some ownership changes it seems but fairly consistent.

We don't give out info about this place too often but..
A few years ago we were headed south, got to Constitution tired but decided to try to make it to La Paz anyway. It's a long drive to La Paz from there
and not especially interesting when you are worn out. We soldiered on talking about stopping at the very first sort of ok hotel we see.
There it is on the left - had to make a quick U-turn. Thank goodness we can stop before either one of us fall asleep at the wheel. But do they take
dogs or should we just try to sneak our puppy in? No matter, this is as far as we are driving!
Well, this is kind of funny - a drive-up hotel check-in. Nice looking place, and look - security is tops - they have garages! Only $45 - oh, no thank
you, we plan to stay the whole night - we don't need an hourly rate. Is there a restaurant nearby? Oh, room service - that's perfect, we didn't want
to drive one mile further anyway. What about dogs? Oh, it's fine with us the fellow says, it's up to you whether we bring a dog in with you - sounds
great, no extra charge for a puppy - good.
We find the room (and garage) for room 231 - we pull in and the garage door closes behind us. How safe & convenient.
We are hungry - let's check out this room service thing - oh look there are two menus - one for meals and the second - the second menu - oh my, no
meals listed on THAT menu -
It was a semi-peaceful night except the puppy barked a little when she heard strange noises from the adjacent room - several times that evening.

Another option is to put the dogs up for the day/night in a dog boarding facility. Found a GREAT one in La Paz that took care of our pups for a day
and a half while we went and explored.

Very reasonable rates, great attention by the staff.. It's not the same as having your pup with you, but I was VERY happy to leave them there for the
day during out excursion in the La Paz area.
