David has some of the pictures Sat Mike will send me more. These trails are brand new ones I made . With Mike's help we put lots of ribbon to mark trail. We both use cheater tires . They don't leave any track what so ever. I'm riding my spare crf 230 with heavy mods. My mine bike engine being rebuilt. Mike on Wr450 with auto clutch . Mike is super to ride with can handle anything.

"cheater tires" ????

I am guessing you are referring to trials tires.... often a good choice for a variety of terrain. Pirelli MT43 is my fave for most local conditions in BC. Not as good as knobbies in mud and sandy sidehills....but a great choice. I have always used knobbies in Baja, but would like to see how they would be for all Baja conditions.

However, can't agree that they don't disturb terrain.

Thanks for the info.

Yes mt 43 w/ 4 mil thick tube at 6psi . Out last any normal dirt bike tire 3 to one. Yes in mud dirt bike tire better. On making tire marks we trail ride no tire spin. We tried to spin tires to mark trail. His 450 auto clutch only wheelie no spin . My spare girls bikes no spin no wheelie just goes. Coming up is picture me doing wheelie . Had to put throttle wide open pop clutch . Wheelie yes but no tire spin . Yes ground slightly damp come ride with us . We are riding tomorrow till March 12 . Then early April 5 day sxs ride .

It was great to see all the green grass. Good traction was easy to find everywhere we went last week. Tested out the mousse bibs. All 3 of us had them front and rear. 20 miles at 55 mph on pavement . Didn't even feel hot to the touch.

I'm going to try the newer nitro bibs on my next trip. They claim they will hold up to highway riding as long as you let them cool a little before hitting the whoops or any hard dirt riding?
It would be nice to not worry about flats but If a bib fails you are pretty screwed unless you have a tube and haven't smoked the tire.

MT 43's are great down there. Go to the tip and back and still have a tire at the end, kind of.

Malcolm, 1st time no San Carlos in 30 years. should be back next year' I hope. If not more riding with Larry.

I'll try to work on pictures
