| Lots of Earthquakes in the San Felipe Area recently

 Hi All,

Here’s today’s EQ map. Lots of small EQs in Northern Baja in the last few days!

The Pacific Plate (on top of which is all of Baja and the west coast of Alta California to San Francisco) wants to move north and must slide by the
North American Plate. Every time it moves a bit = earthquake. Little quakes relieve the stress nicely... if no relief in a while, then BOOM!, a big
quake when it snaps free!

 David,

Look for the hammer to fall (if it’s going to) around the dark of the Moon (June 10 +or-)!

Prior to this there have been very few EQs since things settled down after the big Mexicali Easter Quake!

Most of the EQs are on the NB plate and in the last 20 Hrs. Some as far north as Malibu CA.

 I circled my choice location!

This fault isn't that sort of fault! But hold that thought as Beach front property in Palm Springs would be wonderful!

I remember reading a that the rocks, the tierra at the Cape
can be matched up with the geology around Vallarta.
The plain between Todos Santos BCS and La Paz is being
streched, that plain and the Cape are being left behind, as the rest of the Peninsula moves north
