Trip north thru TJ

Aug. 21 - Traffic and road conditions were normal. A couple of ruff rods areas and deep holes. Getting thru TJ was the worst ever! The river road is a total mess. Building a bridge over it so major back up and detours. It looks like they have been at it for a long time but this was my first trip in 3 years so I missed any previous reports . The border crossing was also SLOW. I hit the river road about 1 PM and crossed over at 4:30.

I appreciate your report. I haven't crossed there for quite a while, and frankly, would drive a half a day out of my way to avoid that corridor.

I hope you were at least able to enjoy a decent churro or tamale while you were waiting in line!

If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!
