OUTBOARD MOTOR TRANSPORT

Is there anyone who is towing a boat from Southern California as far as Baja Sur in late October? My Tohatsu 9.8 motor was stolen last December; I bought a used one and would like to get it across the border without paying the ridiculous import duty. If it was mounted on your boat as a kicker, it would pass without any fuss. I would, of course pay for your help (say, $100?). THANKS!

David
I had a pickup and trailer full of import items and crossed at Tecate when the gates first opened in the morning. They just waved me thru. Just take that engine and put it in back of what you are driving and cover it up. Cross at Tecate

sold out and got out !!!
