Immigration and tourist devices at border crossings
I have no problem turning over my iPhone or laptop to immigration as there is no data they'd be interested in. (While this applies to MX/US
crossing, Canada is onboard too.)
I've rarely made it to secondary, and I've never been asked about devices I own. That might have changed with current gov't policies and attitudes.
Interesting times we live in.
''In addition to encrypting your devices, you should delete any specific texts, apps, photos, etc that you feel are sensitive or you wouldn’t want a
government agent to see.''

US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

The government is mostly invading privacy of border crossing foreigners.
Of course, the current government will also use any flimsy excuse to harass usa citizens on their retribution list.
Woke!
Hands off!

will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.”

Saw an interview of a CBP leader a few days ago. He said they are finally allowed to do their jobs - secure the border. Love it.
