No more FMM for less than 7 days ???????
Anyone have any info on this ? Just crossed CBX into TJ airport and they stamped passport only since it was less than 7 days? Didn’t need to fill
out FMM for like before. Made it quicker and easier. Maybe just an airport thing

It might just depend on the mood of the agent. I wonder what they would stamp if you are crossing with a passport card?
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

Has nothing to do with "less than 7 days". FMMs have been phased out at airports. All they do is stamp your passport regardless of whether you are a
tourist, or temp. or permanent resident.
Has been this way for almost 3 years at many Mex. airports.
If you're flying out, you have to get an exit stamp, too.

We flew to Cabo via TJ in early June of this year. Stayed 8 days and were required to get fill out paper FMM’s.

That has to do with the individual airport, not the number of days you are staying.
Like I said, the FMMs have been being phased out at airports starting about 3 years ago. Some airports adopted it early, some are obviously still not
caught up. Also, paper FMMs might be used if their computer system is down.
Everyone I know who has flown into Puerto Vallarta airport as a tourist in the past almost 3 years and staying under or over 7 days has had their
passport stamped, no paper FMMs issued.

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the FMMs
Around you have grown
For the FMMs they are a-changin’
Woke!
Hands off!
