Taco recommendations pto San Carlos
Life is too short for bad tacos.
With this said, I would love the opinions of those who frequent the restaurants of San Carlos who may have suggestions on where one should go for the
finest of Baja street tacos.
ALSO! While we’re on the subject, those who have experience with taco stands in puerto San Carlos must, therefore, also have experience with the
taco stands or Constitución! I would love any and all taco stand suggestions for those two locations. Thank you nomads for your infinite Baja wisdom.
It feels good to post here again, mostly because it’s nostalgic and also because it means I’m once more in the Baja. Salud.

I wish I could help, but I've got nothing. It is nice to see a new post that isn't OFF-TOPIC though, so I had to respond!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!

Mornings
Carnitas tacos are popular with the locals until noon or so.
If you come into PTO San Carlos pass the OXXO on your left and Pemex on your right. Continue past Lore’s House on your right. Continue past Falayma
market on your left. The carnitas place will be on the right side of the street.
This morning just after sunrise I heard some LOUD squealing of a pig in my neighborhood. I think is was his last squeal before he became carnitas for
the day. Fresh!
Midday not many tacos stands open.
Lore’s House mentioned above has a full menu served through the day. Fish tacos are great, anything on the menu is good.
Chicken or fish al mojo de ajo is my favorite.I know, not tacos but good grub.
Between Lore’s House and the carnitas place there are 2 open air taquerias. They open after dark. I recommend the one on the left as you come into
town.
Constitution: next post.
I live in PTO San Carlos part time so I know some places but not all.

Had some great bierria tacos in Constitution. Around the center of town on the west side. That being said, all bierria tacos I`ve ever had have been
delicious!! From TJ to Cabo, YUMMMMMM!!!

Carnitas Danny
Serve, IMHO, the best carnitas in PSC. It is where the locals flock.
Located on the corner of Puerto Escondido and Puerto Vallarta. 100 pesos feeds 2 with all the fixings.
