El Parador Hotel and restaurant

Spent the night here last night. Perfect stop off Mex 1 at the LA Bay cutoff. Nice decor, clean rooms, wonderful staff, pet friendly for our 2 small doggies and very reasonable prices. Room with 2 single beds was $1000 pesos plus a $30 peso surcharge for credit card. Had dinner and breakfast here. A somewhat limited menu but really good authentic cuisine at fair prices. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and would encourage others to support this fine establishment.

Yeah, thanks for review. I have always wanted want to stay at that motel and try and ride my ebike to Leon Grande. Well, not "always" since it is a new motel, but since I first heard that it opened.

It was great to see how they refurbished the abandoned parador cafeteria... I saw photos of the place online. I wish them great success!
Was there any evidence of a new gas station, either there at the abandoned one or a little south on the other side of the highway?
In 2017, there were 'Pemex coming' signs, just south of the parador on the east side on Mex 1.

The photos show the area where the pumps were have been refurbished also.
Hopefully it's a sign of things to come?

I didn’t notice anything regarding a new gas station, but I wasn’t looking out for anything like that 👀.
