Anybody imported a Tractor from the US?

I'm interested in bringing a small tractor down to Baja. I've read up on it, but like everything else, what you read and what happens at the border can be a bit "different". If you've brought one down, or know someone who has, I'd like to talk with them.

Yes we have done this. Use a broker.

Have paperwork on tractor, especially valuation proof. They know about TractorHouse and Machinery Pete.

Straightforward procedure if you use a broker. Don't try to just pull it across.

You will pay duties of around 19% on agreed valuation unless you are a registered agricultural producer in Mexico. I'm guessing you are not so if you read about no tariffs for farm machinery into Mexico just know it is not quite as simple as that.

Good luck.
