Arrived at Shari's about 7:30 and she was great at receiving our dusty mob.
Such hospitality and comfort at her La Bufadora Inn was greatly appreciated.
We will relax today!

Hey David, are you seeing much hurricane damage/rutting/wash outs to the dirt roads? How about standing water and mud?

Yes, lots of dirt road damage and pools of water.
The road south from the 28th parallel past Guillermo Prieto was all fast as usual, however. South of Bahía San Rafael fish camp to the San Francisquito/ El Arco road was pretty rough. The rest wasn't so bad. Mission Santa Gertrudis road was pretty rocky.

A few potholes but we didn't use much of Mex 1, yet. Tomorrow, we will be on it from Vizcaino to Chapala. Will report if any problems that stand out.
But, seriously, will you cancel going it there's a lot? Just kidding!

Hwy. 1 has been great from Vizcaino north to Chapala. Only a couple of holes near km. 265 & 239. Fresh paving near Parador Punta Prieta.
We plan to eat ar Nueva Chapala, it's 12 :25 now

Full tummies at Nueva Chapala and stopped at Pozo de San Francisquito to see the historic waterhole on El Camino Real where Serra stopped in 1769.
Next, gassed up at Gonzaga Bay.
The military checkpoint structure has been removed as the military are long gone from this place.
Weather is perfect.
