baja 500

A little bit of a repeat post but now that the map is up I'm hoping people will have more info for me.

I'm taking my son to watch the 500 this year. It will be our first time. I'm curious about the best and funnest way to watch the race. I'd like to be able to watch from at least a couple of spots. Maybe an ealy km pass by and then drive somewhere else for a late km pass by. Is this realistic given the highway traffic and road conditions? Any good recommendations for locations to watch from?

I'm also curious about travel ability to the checkpoints in a two wheel drive 05 tacoma.

thanks.

I would head out of Ensenada toward Ojos Negros...the course will cross /join the highway in several places for easy access....
