World Cup Game on Saturday TJ-Ensenada

Any suggestions for a place to watch the Mexico game that starts at noon somewhere between TJ and Ensenada, preferably a local bar instead of a gringo joint... Saturday just happens to be the start of my vacation in Baja, so that's why it needs to be up north.

Try the Commercial Mexicana in Ensenada. They have TVs set up all over the store, including in their coffee bar and sandwich/pizza shop. All locals, no gringos (but alas, no beer!)

Another place, although I dissed the restaurant, is Mario's in Chapultapec on the way out to Estero Beach (go past the Estero Beach entrance a few blocks) and Mario's is on the left. They had a really nice bar and we were the only gringos in the place when Mexico played the other day.

half the places you will see along that route will be bars and the will all have the game on.

Great ,
I'll have to pull over somewhere between Ensenada and San Quintin. I'll be heading down to SQ on Saturday from Rosarito. Maybe I can make it to SQ around the start of the game. Thanks for the heads up
