Hola Surfistas

I'm heading down to Baja Sur for my first trip past Ensenada in 30 plus years of surfing..I know it's pretty sad, I guess I'm just a home body. I'll be traveling with my family (wife and two young kids in our family minivan.

I'd like suggestions on surf spots between Ensenada and the tip that we can get to with the minivan.

Any ideas?

get the baja almanac or AAA map and figure out how much fun/adventure you really want to have. pick a road and go or try around todos santos...

p.s. just haul ass south because the water is so warm it will really feel like a vacation. don't worry about the north until on your way home. northern baja is about 66-70 degrees now but south it is WARM, AHHHH!!!

Punta Cabras, Punta Baja, Punta Abreojos, Bahia Asuncion, San Juanico (Scorpion Bay), Punta Conejo... these would be some of the sites that meet your needs.

Good that you are finally returning to Baja!!!

If you will be on our part of the coast (Bahia Asuncion) after July 16, we would be happy to show you around and entertain your wife and kids while you surf...they will like it here, lots of kids and it's pleasant weather here in the summer and you can camp at a wonderful beach that has a good calm place for kids to swim and snorkel etc. Hope to meet you all soon....shari, juan and sirena
