What type of labor action? This is my favorite family hotel in La Paz. Now, if they would just sell it to me.

They had a strike(huelga). Glad it is over...
Any confirmation on that?

That is a great deal, however if my limited spanish is correct, one must live in one of the few listed locations; correct?

The Los Arcos has always had a special rate for locals and Americans with FM-3's, we have stayed there lots of times....We also like a very quiet
place on the water front called Hacienda Del Cortez, turn off main road at the VW Dealership and drive to the end at the water. Great food, nice
pool..they offer a rate for locals too....612-122-9999

Roberto: Correct!
Many years ago, I was surprised to find Fireplaces in some of the rooms.
Always a good place to stay in La Paz.

Yeah, I've stayed there a couple of times and always liked it. Once was in the middle-end of July, with the whole family. We got a suite, but since
only the bedroom had A/C we didn't use the sitting room (or fireplace) much! Loved hanging out at the bar though. Can't remember the name of the
Gringo that was the manager - he was a real hoot, hammered 24/7 with a couple of little dogs.
