Giggling Marlin?
I have noticed some people talking about the Giggling Marlin in Cabo.
I am going to Baja (Cabo included) for the first time over thanksgiving. I am a bit old for major partying but wouldn't mind an attractive, pleasant
bar, with good music, one night. But I don't want the total drunk college student scene. What's the Giggling Marlin like? Any suggestions of bars that
are on the "classy" side, but still fun... but maybe have a slightly older crowd and not the drunk college student scene?
Thanks!

The Giggling Marlin is probably not what you are looking for. Try the sushi bar near the Plaza del las Glorias. Or any of the nicer hotel or marina
bars.
Fly low, land on roads.

Latitude 22 Roadhouse
is our favorite. The food is great as is the atmosphere. The owner Mike is quite a character.

Depends on how you look at it, if your'e hanging upside down it seems like an attractive, pleasant bar, with good music, one night.

Giggling Marlin can get a bit rowdy but nothing like Squid Roe. The hanging upside down that FDT posts the photo up is done when people indulge in
too much alcohol.
Cabo Wabo can be good fun if you like Sammy Hagar music and that of his time.
Latt22 is a good suggestion about 5 minutes out of downtown.
Sancho Panzo a little challenge to find - but worth finding if you enjoy jazz and contemporary music.
There is no more Plaza Las Glorias - changed names a few times since having plumbing problems amongst other issues .. including one no one could
remember .. now called Tesoro.
Tho their food is not of our preference, Margaritaville on the marina has a very enjoyable very professional Mariachi show 7pm. Have a beverage and
chips/salsa/guacamole or just walk around and you will also be able to see the show.
Whatever you choose have a magic trip.

Any tips on finding Sancho Panza? We'll be at the Cabo Inn Hotel. Thanks!

Sancho Panza in in the Tesoro hotel. Lattitude is indeed a great place and Peter Bacon plays there several nights a week. Also Ediths up the hill from
the Office is good for a drink if you can get in. Suerte. Avoid the Marlin.
