Portable air pumps
Looking for a small air compressor- the type that plugs into the cig lighter socket. I will be using it to air up tires. Are there any out there that
work well?

I recall a thread about portable pumps sometime back. Maybe if you put it into the search window below.

Thanks BB...
That got kind of close but it took me to what looked like a reply in the making by marek. I went to the member list and found all posts by marek and
found the thread. I know there's a faster better way to do this but it's beyond me. Anyway, mojo wants the info and if he can follow my wierd way to
it, he's in.

Check out the Tienda Baja Nomad above Todays Post. Doug sells it right here. Also normally available at Costco, but we were there last night shopping
for our trip south tomorrow and didn't notice them on my obligitory tool aisle walk thru.
This type is suppose to work very well, there is a couple of guys here that have them and can give testimonial to their value.
Haven't had a bad trip yet....

I dont believe the Costco model (which I have) nor the Tienda model operate from a cig lighter. Mine is a battery clip-on. Kind of a pain but it
works good, even going from 60-80psi.

Get quality
Everything is dependent on the size tire you run and the psi you need.
Got a VIAIR recently ($350) after testing some lesser model's out. My small Sear's compressor is good for my Toyota tires but worthless on my Ford
F350 tires. The Sear's model will probably put up to 80psi in my truck tires eventually, but it'll be running a long time. (Go with something
that clips to your battery.)
