My first response is How can you offend a criminal...
For that matter how can you offend someone that supports criminals...

I think the safe or correct way to say it in English is:

Undocumented Immigrants.

Someone else may have a different opinion.

Whatever you do, don't call them "Illegal ALIENS". Each time that term is used, some Immigrant Rights Idiot is quick to say that they aren't "Martians", but human beings like everyone else.

Wouldn't that be an Alien Rights Idiot? I think the opposite of legal is illegal and thus illegal immigrant should suffice.

Immigrant - a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence.

Alien - a resident born in or belonging to another country who has not acquired citizenship by naturalization.

Undocumented - lacking proper immigration or working papers.

Illegal - forbidden by law or statute.

Using the dictionary definitions of the words, it is difficult for me to understand how anyone can use any terms other than 'illegal aliens' or maybe 'illegal immigrants'. Many, maybe most, are not undocumented. Fraudulent documents are readily available for a nominal sum.

I'm not sure that your wife's student can title the paper so that it doesn't 'offend' someone. I for one am getting tired of politically correct terminology. What gives any group the right to take commonly used words and turn them into something offensive?

I think the world is run by C- students.

Illegal undocumented alien ********.

These are real people with real feelings...they are criminals and need to be returned to Mexico or the country they came from, so they can be legal...
As a human being too, I see no reason to be disrespectful or show hatred...we are no different then they except we are here legally. They will be someday...

Just Mexican? There are lots in the US from many other countries without proper documentation.
