US Consulate
Tried a search but could could not find directions to the US Consulate in Cabo San Lucas.
I need to get some docs notarized.
Anyone know ? I will be coming from the Premiere bus terminal outside of town near the CCC.

If you already have your documents there are notaries in La Paz. Might be easier. I know of two but can't tell you how to get there. Some one here
probably will post an address.

The US Consulate in Cabo San Lucas is Michael Houston, (624) 143-3566
Hours 10am - 1pm Monday-Friday

Ron, Don't know if he still does, but the US consulate guy used to have a fixed schedule for showing up here in La Paz....can't remember if it was one
day a week or one day a month (more likely) I thought he took care of business at or near the La Paz Marina. Maybe some boaters could give some more
definitive current info. If no one here has current information, maybe a call to his office would tell you.
I'm assuming this is a document you need to send to the USA, so it requires a USA type-notary seal as opposed to a Mexican Notario!

He was just here or will be here very soon, Check with Marina De La Paz, Also check with John Anderson Dorado Properties, on the Abasolo he I beleive
still maintains Notorary License from the states.

Ron, after arriving in downtown Cabo San Lucas, take a taxi to Plaza Nautica near the marina and you'll find the Consulate office right behind HSBC
bank.

Osprey is correct, other landmarks would be the Dairy Queen and behing the old Greenbergs Deli. Depending on what you are notarizing and for whom a
regular Notario may do.

And that'll set you back about the same amount as a flight to San Diego to get this done.

f you are referring to the taxi, I don not plan on taking one. I will be taking the Collectivo bus into town from the bus station.

The consul sends a rep to the Dock restaurant once a month... Just as an FYI, I called the Consuls office in CSL and they said that the service in La
Paz does not include the notiary.
I am going to swing by Dorado Properties and see if they still do notiarys.... will post the result.
I did go to a regular Notary Publico in La Paz and he wanted six hundred pesos plus a spanish translation in writing of the document... what a load
that was .... would rather take a little vacation in Cabo.
