If you tell the person at Wal-Mart he/she will give you a year's supply. Anyway the one in Vegas does.

If you are a cash customer the Wall Mart will give you as long a supply as you need. Just tell them you will be out of the country.

Does anyone know if the Wal Mart in CSL is giving the four dollar a month prescriptions ?

Any pharmacy will fill the amount that the doctor writes if you pay for it. If it is through insurance, most likely the insurance will not authorize payment for a year's supply at one time.

I think Fred is inaccurate in saying "If you tell the person at Wal-Mart he/she will give you a year's supply." If they give you more than the amount of the prescription, they would certainly be at risk of losing their license.

Yea, you are right. But my doctor does give me a year's supply when she writes them. They sell them to me 3 months at a time, but you can ask for the entire year if you want. I DO get 6 months at a time as I travel to Baja for 6 months every year. Don't most doctor's write you a year's supply? Then they want to see you again. But the guy at my Wal-Mart said if I travel to let him know and he will take care of it for me.

Don't forget it depends on what class of drug you are talking about. There is very good info at: http://www.peoplesguide.com/
The insurance info is what we have found as well.
Check with your doctor and pharmacist, too.
