what point is this?


this photo was taken at el mirador on the toll road. the point on the left is punta banda, that is the island on the right. what is the land behind punta banda? is it punta santo tomas?
you can't often see it because of haze, but it juts out so far past punta banda when it is visable and it looks huge. punta santo tomas is the next point on a baja map, but on the map, it doesn't look like it comes out past punta banda.
always wondered, anyone know?

Punta Santo Tomas? What other point is there near La Bocana? But, what do I know, I'm a Newbie (I am going to mention that in every post until I reach the age of majority). :)

That is indeed the north Punta Santo Tomas. You see it from there because of the angle of view and elevation at El Mirador.
