Tolerance Lad's
Remember Skeet is a lot older than most of us and spent a lot of time there and naturally takes a lot of what we say personally.

With all due respect ... she is putting together (with her staff) a newspaper that is over sixty pages long .... I don't know if I would want to
be doing much posting after that.

Funny
Skeet is the one who lacks tolerance and also projects his experience upon others.
Perhaps we should not be tolerant of personal attacks and outright denials of truth?
How does it help Skeet or us to support his assaults?

Because of her so called negative outlook on baja.

Wow Ron, I just heard she was a Baja Nomad Member. It would be nice if she could post some stuff in here too. What luck, a professional journalist
amongst us reporting some facts about Baja California that would be fantastic!

It's because he's older and it's all about respect, but I consider just about anybody else fair game.

Dream on because it aint going to happen. I know you have been around La Paz and have seen all the new developer communities, a lot of them Gated.
The gringos will mostly stay to themselves maybe have a few Mexican friends that speak English and that's the way it going to be, just like expats all
over the world, or Italians,Mexicans, Chinese and others living in the USA.

Wow, I just got back...
from Rosarito, this was my first post and I was surprised by all the responses.
Just to let you know a little about myself: I am a border American.
I cross between the two cultures, borders, and languages daily.
Thanks for inquiring.

I thought the actual implementation date was 2016. They had to build courtrooms, etc. so they set that as a target date. By that year, another
goverment will be in place. Maybe they could focus on reigning-in the Army for now while courthouse construction is going on.

"Trials will be opened to the public to attend and there will be more transparency in the system. Prosecution and defense motions and arguments will
be made in open court."
I didn't know that wasn't the case. If so, this is an extremely important change for the better. Shedding light on what's going on is THE first step
to improving any system.
Good for Mexico!!
I have a question for the many skeptics. If you won $2,000,000 on a $1.00 lottery ticket, would you complain about the tax bill?
