it says there it's 2100 pesos for a round trip.
i had seen that website but figured there was no way it could be that cheap.
i think i rode it one way back in '01 (with no car) for like 800 pesos.
anyways, thanks for da link.

never mind
found all the info i needed here:
http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=31304&pag...
looks like it is 2100 for the car and another 800 for a pasajero for a grand total of about 300 bucks for the trip.
last time i took the ferry i slept out on the deck, and i wouldn't recommend that to anyone!

Make sure you have the new departure times from La Paz ...
Now leaves at 0800 with your smiling face requested at 0600 hours.
SORRY--- Those are the times for the departure to Topolobampo .....
Departure to Matazlan is Tues - Sunday at 0200 hours, dam that's early ....

Don't know what site you looked at, but it sure wasn't the one I gave you.
The fares quoted there are 2150 pesos one way for your car plus 835 pesos for just passage, no cabin.
So, roundtrip would set you back 5970 pesos. Ouch !!
